i have a boo boo

o.k. this one is not mine.. it is a window Hubs did for his Ma.... its a bit too country Bumpkin for me.... but rob is such a perfectionist it looks absouloutly amazing... :O)
well maybe when it stops raining here i can get a few photos of a couple projects i just finished,, rain + creative juices= glass projects.... and boo boos.... i have finally caved in.. i have to wait for my fingers to heal before taking on another thing to cut.. i have all these little and big sliced cuts all over my hands and they get so dried out working with the glass dust and oh my word the acid junk you have to put on the glass to make the lead stick to it... ouch i actually was working on something when i sponged on some of the goo and thought i got a big glass sliver cut or somthing.. i swore outloud and dropped my sponge and found out the goo had gone into a cut.... can you say lemon juice on a razor cut on your shin.. thank you ladies i knew you could relate.
you cannot wear gloves when working on this stuff,,, so i begged rob to get me this 40.00 professional tool gadget thing that wont allow my hands to get eaten up so badly ..
cause i have a million ideas and too many boo boo's.......
i stopped by the eagle creek feed store today... it is like a 120 year historic building across from the farm i work at. anyway.. i ran in there to buy some bag balm ( utter gooage balm) today to which my kids sank deeply into thier seats wondering if anyone would notice they were at the feed store..... good Lord!!! its not like we NEVER go there for Petes sake..... they were just not thrilled when i asked if they wanted to get out and look at the new baby chicks with me.... to which the 14 year old said " MOM i am NOT a Four year Old ANYMORE.... " and i said no, your not... you have grown into a complete ass. ( smirk to self)
The 11 year old sat there in disbelief..... what baby chicks are you kidding? let's go..... ahh there is still fun and wonderment in those brown eyes of hers.... this is the girl that saved her babysitting money and bought a track phone pay as you go cell today at the store.... 55.00 dollars...Hubs and I sat down and said... when you are 16 and driving we will pay for a phone and you will pay for the time used..... and she said what if i pay for it now? and Hubs said to me with a wink... why "H" that is a big responsibility.... here are a few goals to reach before we consider saying yes... she reached those goals like nothing and earned that wretched phone... do i have a phone???? no.
anyway that is that
love to you
