Do these come with Dramamine?

So, Today i visit the Eye Docotor,to pick up my new glasses... mind you a few years ago when i turned 40 my eyes started well.... stuttering a bit.. what i mean is this.. things were amiss. You know when you are asked the question is the glass half empty or half full... my response has been "What glass- there is a glass there?" My students have been asking me when my glasses come in.

My Doctor, Bless her heart, talks me into the what to they call it? oh yeah "Progressive lens" which is a nice way of saying for old people who are progressivly are going blind. So i say sure let's try those.. besides they won't show the three or trifocal lines that really are needed.

Long Story Short i put the dang things on and ask politely,

" Do you prescribe Dramamine with these?

" good greif, my Lord, how do you... we... old people get used to these i ask? Hubs laughes in the background.. afterall he is a vertran of "The Progressive lens Academy" I suppose they take some getting used to.. but today when i balanced my check book and went grocery shopping they were wonderful... its going up and down the steps that make me barf like i was in my first trimester of preganacy. ahhh and to think Heather is in love with my laugh lines... ie Crows feet. I love this age. It's the first time i am fianlly comfortable with who i am... progressive lens's and all.
